Return to the days of summer movies at the drive-in with the Fairfax County Park Authority’s “Starlight Drive-In Cinema” Saturday nights in August.

The fun begins with music, food and children’s activities from 6 to 8 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the movies begin at dark. Admission is free, and you can bring coolers, blankets and lawn chairs so you can leave the car and enjoy a picnic supper under the stars.

The lineup is:

  • August 3 — The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (2019) (Rated PG)
  • August 10 – How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019) (Rated PG)
  • August 17 — Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse (2018) (Rated PG)
  • August 24 – Incredibles 2 (2018) (Rated PG)

The movies are part of the Park Authority’s 2019 Summer Entertainment Series and funded through generous donations to the Fairfax County Park Foundation and are shown at Trinity Center, located at 5860 Trinity Parkway in Centreville, Virginia. Get details at Performances.

Movies are shown outdoors and may be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Call 703-324-SHOW (7469) one hour prior to the gates open hour for updates.
