Serves as chief of the Pumping Stations Branch. As branch chief, directs a large branch of tradesmen and technicians in the operations and maintenance (O&M) of the county's sanitary sewer system, in order to inspect, clean, repair, rehab and maintain the county's 63 pump stations, 57 metering sites and associated force main. The appointee of this position requires a broad range of experience and expertise in pumping station design, construction and O&M including, contraction design, maintenance services and administration functions. Assists agency director in establishing and administering O&M programs for infrastructure systems including: Sanitary Sewer Pumping Stations, force mains, pressure sewer systems, flow metering stations and odor control of all pumping station maintenance programs. Oversee design review of engineering plans and specifications for public works and development projects. Responds to pumping stations and force main emergencies required and represents agency at meetings and program events as assigned.
