Police Investigate Early-Morning Baltimore Shootings

Baltimore Police are investigating several recent shootings, including an incident early this morning when two shooting victims walked into a local hospital.

Officers said a 20-year-old woman was suffering from a gunshot wound to her right thigh, and a 19-year-old woman had a graze wound to her left calf.

Eastern District shooting detectives say the two victims were standing on the corner of Rutland Avenue and E. Lafayette Street when a silver four-door sedan drove into the block and one of its occupants shooting at them.

A few minutes later, officers heard shots coming from the area of Belair Road at Chesterfield Avenue.

As officers canvassed the area, they located a 40-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his groin area. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is stable.

8/21/2019 @ 2800 Mayfield Avenue – Antonio Skipwith (17) of Dundalk, Maryland
