Repeat Violent Offender Wanted for Attempted Murder

Baltimore Police are seeking 26 year-old Devin Segar in connection with a violent assault that occurred about 10:50 p.m. on July 2.

Investigators say a 33-year-old woman was shot in the back of her head, inside her home in the 1000 block of Walker Avenue in Baltimore. After shooting the victim, the suspect grabbed a knife and attempted to stab her in her torso. The victim was able to escape from the suspect and get help.

The victim identified the suspect and a warrant has been issued for Segar’s arrest, charging him with 1st Degree Attempted Murder.

Segar also has two open warrants, one for an Attempted Kidnapping and Sexual Assault that occurred in February 2018, and a second open warrant for an Armed Carjacking and Rape that occurred in May 2018.
