Four Shootings in Baltimore Sunday Morning

Baltimore Police are investigating four shootings that occurred early this morning.

This morning (Sunday) at approximately 5:58 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers were dispatched to a “Shot Spotter” alert in the 2600 block of Ellicott Driveway. When officers arrived at the location they observed an unidentified unresponsive male suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported by ambulance to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at University Hospital and pronounced dead by medical personnel shortly after arrival.

Gwynns Falls Parkway

A 23-year-old male was shot in the buttocks shortly after 5:40 a.m. today in the 2600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

North Carolina Street

Another shooting occurred shortly after 5 a.m. in the Unit block of North Carolina Street. Officers found a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh. North Rosedale Street

A 67-year-old woman was shot in the hip at about 2:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Rosedale Street.  The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

At about 1:20 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1100 block of North Ellamont Street to investigate a reported shooting.Officers arrived at the location and observed a 22 year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.
