GRAND LARCENY – 7800 block of Belford Drive, 06/04/19, 11:09 p.m.  The victim listed an item for sale on a phone app and agreed to meet two men to sell it.  The men began looking at the phone then ran away with it.  The suspects are described as Hispanic between the ages of 18 and 25.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY – 5600 block of Kirkham Court, 06/04/19, 9:29 p.m. The victim was inside his home when he saw a man enter, take several sets of keys and run away. With the help of a K9 and our helicopter, officers found Dustin Sherman, 34, of Oakton, in the woods behind the home. Sherman was charged with burglary, grand larceny trespassing and a warrant for probation violation was also served. He is being held at the Adult Detention Center with no bond.
