Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in the 3100 block of 14th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 7:37 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal dispute in an establishment at the listed location. The suspect then threatened the victim and brandished what appeared to be a handgun. Responding officers apprehended the suspect and recovered a BB gun.
On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, 26 year-old Timothy Brown, of Woodbridge, VA, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
