Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, April 1, 2019, in the 4500 block of East Capitol Street, Northeast.
At approximately 10:28 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded US currency. The employee complied and the suspect fled the scene.
On Thursday, April 11, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 38 year-old Rasool Douglas, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun).
