COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 14000 block of Newbrook Drive, 03/13/2019, 11:59 a.m. A business owner entered his warehouse and found copper wire had been stolen from inside the walls and ceilings.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BRANDISHING/ASSAULT: 8200 block of Richmond Highway, 03/13/19, 8:05 p.m. Nathaniel Wilcox, 25, of Alexandria, and Kareem Joyner, 24, of Woodbridge, got into a fight with Nehemiah Coleman, 29, and Curtis Lewis, 36, both of Alexandria.  All four men were charged with disorderly conduct and Coleman was also charged with assault.  There are no arrest photographs currently available for Nathaniel Wilcox or Kareem Joyner.


ASSAULT (BIAS CRIME): 7600 block of Richmond Highway, 03/13/19, 10:37 p.m. A man was using his laptop inside of a restaurant when another man started yelling racial slurs at him before displaying a knife and coming towards him.  The two men struggled over the knife until police officers arrived shortly thereafter.  Justin Hendricks, 35, of no fixed address, was arrested for attempted malicious wounding.  No arrest photograph is available at this time.
