Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a person and vehicle of interest in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, February 11, 2019, in the 200 block of Gallatin Street, Northwest.
At approximately 10:44 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim resisted and the suspect discharged the firearm, striking the victim. The suspect then took the victim’s property and fled the scene in a vehicle with the second suspect. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
