MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN AUTO/PURSUIT: 8100 block of Richmond Highway, 02/14/19, 1:39 a.m. Officers stopped a stolen car after a short pursuit. All the occupants ran off on foot and four of them were arrested a short distance away. Juwan Burns, 20, and Brandon Frazier, 18, of Alexandria were arrested for obstruction of justice. Two juveniles were also arrested. Additional charges are being sought.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 8800 Jarrett Valley Drive (McLean Islamic Center), 02/13/19, 2:19 a.m. A man entered the building through a window and took property. The man was described as 6’ tall, wearing a dark jacket and jeans. He left in a four door beige car.

POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS/COUNTERFEITING: 1961 Chain Bridge Road (Lord and Taylor), 02/13/19, 7:57 p.m. Lord and Taylor staff reported men in the store passing counterfeit bills. Officers stopped the men in a car, and recovered additional counterfeit currency, narcotics and brass knuckles. Andres Moreno, 34, Warren Missouri, 26 and Michael Allen 42, of Baltimore, Md. were arrested for possession of schedule I or II narcotics, carrying a concealed weapon, forging bank notes, obtaining money by false pretenses, possession of marijuana and obtaining identifying information to avoid arrest.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

UNLAWFUL ENTRY/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 6844 Braddock Road, 02/13/19, 5:44 a.m. Suspect broke a window at the location and entered the building. It does not appear anything was taken.

BURGLARY: 8500 block of Hooes Road, 02/13/19, 10 p.m. Homeowners located a glass door broken. Personal items were taken from the home.
