Concern for Missing Woman from Bethesda

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are asking the public for help in locating a missing Bethesda woman.

Carla Bianca Pettinelli was last seen at her home in the 8000 block of Maple Ridge Road in Bethesda.  Pettinelli was last seen by a home caregiver between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm at her residence.

Pettinelli is a 69 year old, white female, 5’4″, 120 lbs.  She has brown hair and is most likely wearing a black jacket, black hat, black gloves and glasses.

Family members believe that Pettinelli may be in the area of Great Falls Park. This evening, a search of the area by police found her vehicle parked and unoccupied in Great Falls Park.

Police continue to search for Pettinelli and seek the public’s assistance in locating her.  Anyone who has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
