Annandale burglary suspect caught on camera

Fairfax County detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man caught on camera who burglarized a home in the 4000 block of Championship Court in Annandale.

The incident occurred Friday around noon, with the suspect breaking in through the back door, and announcing he was the police before ransacking the home.  It appears the homeowner was able to observe the suspect through video surveillance and scare him off.  He did not steal anything.

The suspect is a black male in his 20’s, approximately 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with a goatee. He was wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt with dark sleeves, black pants, gloves and light colored sneakers.
