We all know McLean, right? It has a supermarket and the usual assortment of shops, gas stations and busy intersections. But is that what it should remain — just a place affluent suburbanites go to run a quick errand? Or should it be more like a European village, with quaint shops, enticing eateries and sidewalk cafes where the locals gather?
