Fairfax County Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted for two counts of abduction and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Detectives believe 37-year-old Osman Osman, of Herndon, may have left Virginia after assaulting and temporarily abducting his wife and child on Saturday, March 24 in Chantilly. Detectives believe Osman traveled to New York City after the incident, but do not know where he currently is.

Osman is also wanted for two counts of assault on a family member, a protective order violation and transporting a firearm while subject to a protective order. Osman is 5 feet 11 inches, about 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. If you see Osman, immediately call 9-1-1 and do not approach him, as he is believed to be armed and dangerous, police said.

Anyone with information about Osman is asked to call Detective Moser at 703-246-5393. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Crime Solvers by visiting www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org, or text-a-tip by texting “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES (274637).
