Police ask help in identifying homicide victim

Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying the homicide victim found in the 13000 block of Jeb Stuart Square in Centreville.

At 5:17 this morning, officers responded to the area after a delivery driver saw a body lying in the street with upper body trauma. Medics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene. No weapons were found at the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is expected to conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of death.

The victim was found wearing a sweatshirt with the design shown above.
