One dead in Fairfax house fire

Fairfax County fire investigators are working to determine the cause of a house fire that took the life of one man Monday morning. Another person was taken to the hospital.

Firefighters say, as they arrived, they could see fire coming out of the single-family home in the 4100 block of Mount Echo Lane. It only took about ten minutes to douse the blaze but as they searched the house they found the body an adult male. Injuries to a second person who was in the house are described as not life-threatening.
