Shooting at Bailey’s Crossroads restaurant leaves one critically wounded

Fairfax County detectives are looking for the person who shot a man at the Palenque Restaurant in the 5800 block of Columbia Pike in the early morning hours of Sunday.

The victim was shot in his upper body and was taken to the hospital with injuries described as life-threatening. Police are looking for a suspected described as a black man, 25 to 30 years old, with a thin build and wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.

The motive for the shooting is being investigated.
