A suspect has been arrested for the carjacking of taxi driver in Franconia last June.

Fairfax County detectives locked up 31-year-old Cuther Lee Watts of Bladensburg, Maryland Wednesday afternoon. They say that Watts, with a mask hiding his face, approached a cab driver who was sitting in his taxi in a parking lot in the 7000 block of Manchester Boulevard. He indicated that he had a gun, stole some cash, forced the 62-year-old victim from the cab and drove off in it. The victim did not require medical attention.

Watts is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
