Fairfax County police have arrested three people in connection with last week’s disappearance of 18-year-old Miguel Angel Ruiz Carrillo. But Carrillo is still missing.

Jose Vincent Sosa, 20 and Edwin Dinarte Moreno, 18, both of Alexandria, and a female juvenile are in custody. Each has been charged with abduction and gang participation.

Detectives say Carrillo, who lives in the 4200 block of Buckman Road in Alexandria, was involved with gang activity. He was last seen Thursday evening near Pole Road and Pondside Terrace. When he didn’t return to his home by the next morning family members reported him missing.

Police have not said what led them to the three people who were arrested Monday.
