Teen’s disappearance may be gang-related

At first, Fairfax County police thought that Miguel Angel Ruiz Carrillo was simply a missing teenager. Now they think youth gangs may be involved.

The 18-year-old, who lives in the 4200 block of Buckman Road in Alexandria was last seen Thursday evening. When he didn’t return to his home by the next morning family members reported him missing.

Detectives say that Carrillo was last seen near the end of Pole Road at Pondside Terrace and they now consider his disappearance to be suspicious. They say Carrillo’s life may be in danger and they’re asking for the public to help locate him.
