Two found dead in car in Lorton – UPDATED

Fairfax County detectives continue to investigate a double murder in Lorton. They’re investigating to see if it’s drug related.

Officers found the bodies of two men in a car at the intersection of Dolsie Grove Drive and Pohick Road shortly after 3:30 this morning after police received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle. When officers arrived, they found a white, late-model, 4-door Acura in the middle of the road. Inside were two bodies, each with serious upper body injuries.

Detectives have identified the dead men as 19-year-old Gregory Dennis and 20-year-old Ryan Cross, both of Dumfries, Virginia. Autopsies will be conducted to determine the official cause and manner of their death.


Detectives are working to determine if the double homicide could be drug-related.

Fairfax County police say drugs may be involved with the two men found dead in a car Wednesday morning.

The car was parked near the intersection of Dolsie Grove and Pohick and detectives are calling the deaths a double homicide. They say they’re still investigating to see if the deaths are drug-related.
