Fairfax County crash reconstruction detectives are working to find the cause of a Thursday evening crash that killed a motorcyclist.

It happened a little before 8:00 p.m. in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County. Police say 45-year-old Thomas Jefferson Duty IV of Alexandria was traveling south on Telegraph Road near Beulah Street when his motorcycle left the road, jumped a curb and struck a retaining wall.
