Potomac River search for missing woman unsuccessful

Boats, a helicopter and land searchers have found no sign of a woman who disappeared along the Potomac Monday night.

The woman’s car was found parked in the Great Falls overlook on the Virginia side of the river after her family reported her missing. A search along both sides of the Potomac near Great Falls was suspended Tuesday afternoon.
