Dance instructor charged with multiple sex crimes

A 19-year old Sterling man, who has taught at dance studios in McLean and Manassas, is facing multiple sex offense charges.

Chase Clark Peklo was arrested Thursday night.  Fairfax County detectives say that they were contacted on February 6 by Peklo’s employer at the Adrenaline Dance Studio in McLean about an alleged sexual offense that had occurred between a student and one of their instructors. Their preliminary investigation determined that Peklo was inappropriately communicating with a 13-year-old and two 14-year-old teenaged girls from December of 2015 to November of 2016. It is also alleged that he had a sexual relationship with one of the girls while she was 14 years old.

Peklo has been charged with having carnal knowledge of child between thirteen and fifteen years old and five counts of possession, reproduction, distribution, solicitation, and facilitation of child pornography.

Peklo also is said to have worked as was a dance instructor at “Adrenaline Dance Studio” and at “Stage Door” in Manassas.

Detectives think that Peklo may have been involved with other children.  They’d like to hear from parents who may be concerned that their child might have had inappropriate contact with their suspect.
