Fairfax Station crash kills one

Fairfax County police think speed may have been a factor in the crash that killed a 21-year-old Springfield man Thursday night.

Estrada Izaguirre was a passenger in a car driven by an 18-year old from Springfield.  Investigators say the car was traveling east in the 7600 block of Clifton Road, when the driver crested a hill and lost control.  It then ran off the road and hit a tree. The driver, whose name has not been released, was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Izaguirre, the passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
