A theft, a car chase and three arrests

Tysons Corner Center car chase

Three people are in custody following a theft and car chase in Fairfax County Tuesday morning.

Fairfax County police say it began when a officers from the FCPD’s Tysons Urban Team were investigating a larceny at a department store in Tysons Corner Center around 11:49 am.  The suspects in that larceny fled to a car.  When officers tried to stop it and the car kept driving, officers gave chase.

Fairfax County, Arlington and Virginia State Police units joined in, eventually stopping the car on I-395.

The investigation is continuing.
