The body of a 67-year old Burke woman, reported missing early Tuesday morning, has been found.

The family of Frances Robinson reported her missing around 4:30 am from her home in the 6100 block of Meadowpond Court.  She’d last been seen around midnight.

Officers, using bloodhounds and a helicopter, checked footpaths in the area for Robinson.  They found her body around 6:00 am in shallow water in Burke Pond near Windward Drive.

Robinson had been wearing only a shirt and pants.  Temperatures overnight were below freezing.  Detectives are investigating the death but they say they have no reason to think that any foul play was involved.
