Fairfax Police are investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred in the Burke area on Thursday, June 18.

The victim, a 17-year-old girl, was walking on the bridge of Roberts Parkway near Premier Court sometime between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m when a  man approached her and offered her a ride in his silver four-door sedan.

The victim attempted to get out of the vehicle but the suspect allegedly physically restrained her.  He then sexually assaulted her.

Following the assault, the suspect left her there and fled in his vehicle.

The victim called police and was medically evaluated at a local hospital and released. The suspect was described as Hispanic, in his late teens to early 20s. He was approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with short brown hair, wearing an orange T-shirt with blue stripes and blue shorts.
