Fairfax Man Arrested After Fatal Accident

A Fairfax man was arrested after a fatal traffic accident killed a Manassas man who had been a passenger in his vehicle.

Prince William County Police said the accident happened Thursday in the 8500 block of Yorkshire Lane in Manassas when Jeffrey Scott Davis Jr., lost control of his Chevy truck, which left the roadway and overturned.

The front seat passenger, Roland Reynolds Jr., 25, of Manassas, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. Reynolds was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

Davis ws hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and was chared with driving under the influence.
