Long & Foster Real Estate’s W.C. & A.N. Miller company is acquiring Randall Hagner Residential, the companies announced. As part of the merger, top producing sales associates Marjorie Dick-Stuart and Bill Stuart, along with other Hagner sales associates, will join the W.C. & A.N. Miller team’s Spring Valley office located at 4910 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C.
According to a spokesperson for the J Street Companies, which has owned the Randall Hagner brand since 2007, the sale of the residential division to Long & Foster will allow J Street to continue to grow its commercial real estate activities in commercial and multifamily property management, commercial brokerage and development.
Randall Hagner has long been recognized as a top tier Washington, D.C., residential real estate brand and is one of the oldest serving the city. Established in 1904, the company’s founder, Randall Hagner, is credited with assisting President Woodrow Wilson with his search for a home in Washington, D.C., after his presidency ended.
“The merging of two industry leading names that are synonymous with professionalism and experience is significant in that it reflects Long & Foster’s long-term commitment to growth in the Washington, D.C., market,†said Michael Seay, president of the Miller brand. “We are very excited to have the Stuarts and the other Randall Hanger associates bring their expertise and experience in the real estate industry here in the Washington, D.C., area to Long & Foster. We look forward to our companies’ continuing to deliver the highest level of real estate service to consumers in this area,†he added.
