Jeffery Reagan, who coached football at South County High School for several years and taught at Mountain View Alternative Learning Center was arrested yesterday (Wednesday, June 13) and charged with possession with intent to distribute steroids and conspiracy to distribute steroids.
Reagan, of 10062 Moxleys Ford Lane in Bristow, was arrested at about 1:30 PM in the Sully Plaza Shopping Center where he allegedly met his illegal steroid supplier. Jeremy Helbing, 35, of Leesburg, the alleged supplier, was also arrested and charged with distribution and conspiracy.
Fairfax County Organized Crime and Narcotics Unit detectives received a tip in December 2011 regarding Reagan, was most recently associated with the West Springfield High School football program, and launched an investigation.
After the arrest, Fairfax detectives worked with Loudoun County narcotics detectives and went to Helbingâ€™s home at 208 Mayfair Drive in Leesburg where they uncovered numerous substances that are pending lab results.
