Christmas Flower Workshop At Sully Historic Site

Create your own floral work of art to enjoy throughout the holidays on Tuesday, December 6, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Sully Historic Site.

In 1795, Elizabeth Collins Lee wrote of her love for gardening, and traded plants with family members throughout her time at Sully.  Two hundred years ago families made their own holiday decorations using greens and flowers from their gardens.

In this workshop taught by a local florist, fresh and dried flowers as well as seasonal materials and containers will be provided. The cost is $45 and space is limited.  For more information call 703-437-1794. You can register by calling 703-222-4664.

Sully Historic Site is located at 3650 Historic Sully Way, Chantilly, Va., off Rt. 28 (Sully Road) ¼ mile north of Rt. 50 and 5 miles south of the Dulles Toll Road.
