Beginning at 9:30 p.m. Friday night, Sept. 16, Exit 52B, I-495 south to Little River Turnpike east (Route 236) and ramp from Little River Turnpike west to I-495 south will be closed until 5 a.m. Monday morning, Sept. 19, for ramp work. Detours will be place all weekend.
I-495 south to Little River Turnpike east detour route: Continue on I-495 south to Exit 54B, Braddock Road east (Route 620), ride the loop ramps and follow signs onto I-495 north, back to Exit 52B, Little River Turnpike east.
Little River Turnpike west to I-495 south detour route: Exit onto I-495 north to Exit 51, Gallows Road (Route 650), turn left at the traffic signal over the Beltway and follow signs onto I-495 south.
Motorists may encounter delays during peak hours approaching the I-495 and Little River Turnpike interchange. This work is part of the Capital Beltway High Occupancy Toll (HOT) Lanes Project.
