The Wild West is coming to Frying Pan Farm Park as the 1930s-era farm hosts competitive bull riding and barrel racing in the indoor arena later this month.
Twisted K Ranch & Rodeo Productions of Loudoun County will showcase its bull riders — including a former Frying Pan farmhand. In addition, barrel racers will demonstrate their blazing speed and master horsemanship skills, while clowns draw attention from both the crowd and the bulls.
Kids age 10 and under are encouraged to show off their boots, buckles, and hats in the best-dressed cowboy and cowgirl contest. And cowboys will be happy to sign autographs.
It all happens on Saturday, April 30, 2011. Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets purchased in advance cost $20 for adults and $15 for ages 16 and younger. You’ll pay $25 and $20 — respectively — if you buy at the door. Group tickets are only available in advance at a discount of 10% for 10 or more tickets. To purchase tickets, call the park at 703-437-9101.
Frying Pan Farm Park is located at 2709 West Ox Road in Herndon, Va.
