Bank Robbery in Annandale

photoShortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, March 25, two men entered the BB&T Bank located at 4401 Backlick Road. One man handed a teller a note and implied that he had a weapon. He demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The second suspect acted primarily as a lookout and followed the first suspect out the door, in the direction of John Marr Drive. There were no injuries.

Both suspects were described as black, thin, and wearing all black clothing. One suspect was in his late 30s to 40, between 5 feet10 inches and 6 feet tall. The second suspect was approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall.
