Federal Audit Questions Airport Board’s Spending, Contract Practices

A federal audit of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which operates Dulles and Reagan National Airports and is building the Metrorail Silver Line, finds fault with the board’s policies for awarding contracts and controlling travel and entertainment expenses. Four Cities Get New Nonstop Service From Reagan National

U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood today announced that new nonstop flights will be available to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport from four cities that, because of distance, had earlier been ineligible for nonstop service.
