Reston’s Zoomph Tracks Social Engagement for Marketing Summit
The Mid-Atlantic Marketing (MAM) Summit, touted as the region’s premier event in marketing, technology, communications and media, has partnered with Zoomph, a Reston-based startup, for social media engagement at the conference in Baltimore on October 18.
“We are thrilled to be a gold sponsor for MAM this year,” said Zoomph Product Manager Theresa Kattula. “The social media analytics and visualization tools that Zoomph provides go hand in hand with the themes of the conference, highlighting disruptive technologies that are creating major shifts in how communications professionals reach their audiences. We consider ourselves at the forefront of that.”
Zoomph will provide real-time social media visualizations to capture and analyze the online conversations taking place at the summit. “Our analytics will instantly tell you who the top influencers are, which content is getting the most attention and top themes and keywords of the day and when exactly they hit maximum activity online,” said Kattula.
Pulling content mentioning the event and using the hashtag #MAMSummit from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to display on large screens throughout the venue, Zoomph encourages attendees to comment and engage with each other and with speakers through Zoomph’s Q&A function.
Co-produced by Potomac Tech Wire and Capitol Communicator, the one-day event expects to host nearly 400 marketing and communications executives, investors, and publishers at the Pier 5 Hotel on October 18. Speakers include Michelle Andres, VP of Digital Media for the Baltimore Ravens; Sonny Ganguly, CMO of WeddingWire; and Steve Sommers, VP of Global Brand Marketing for Under Armour.
Top 5 marketing trends for 2013; PR in a social and mobile world, video and B2B marketing, and the decline of Facebook are among the topics that will be discussed.
