Reston Kids Can Enjoy Tennis Year-Round

If your child plays tennis year-round and you’ve been looking for a way to keep them in Reston during the winter months, there’s a new program that could be your solution.

Thanks to a partnership between Reston Association, the U.S. Tennis Association and Hidden Creek Country Club, you can have your child train and play indoors at Hidden Creek.

Mary Conaway said the program comes from a “ground swell” from parents and children in the Reston community who wanted to play year round.

The league will be known as HCRA JTT League and play begins on September 17 and runs for six weeks. There will be four divisions: 8 and under, 10 and under intermediate, 10 and under advanced, 12 and under intermediate.

The new program kicks off with a pizza party on Sunday, September 16 from 5-7 p.m. at Hidden Creek Country Club. Expect to play, have fun and have . Evaluations and team set up will happen that day as well. Anyone wishing to attend the social must RSVP to Krishn Panchal at krishn@hiddencreektennis.com.
