Horse Previously Attacked is Stabbed Again
Fairfax Police are investigating the latest attack on Lucinda, a horse who was stabbed April 26 at Frying Pan Park.
In the latest attack, police say Lucinda was cut while in a paddock at 2625 Centreville Road. The wounds were described as non-life-threatening.
Detectives believe that the attack took place between 8 p.m. Saturday, July 7 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 8. The incident did not occur in Frying Pan Park but on a paddock that is attached to the park property.
A 17-year-old Herndon youth was arrested in connection with the April attack but is still being held in the Juvenile Detention Center.
