Moran to Host “Jobs Boot Camp”

Congressman Jim Moran will host his annual “Jobs Boot Camp” on Tuesday, June 26th. This dynamic event is designed to help the Congressman’s constituents boost their ability to find the right job that best matches their skills and experience.

Industry-specific panel discussions led by some of the region’s top employers will be held. Break-out sessions include: Building the Perfect Resumé and Cover Letter; Rules of the Road for Recent Grads; and Put Your Experience to Work: Advice for Mature Workers.

The event is free of charge and open to all residents in Virginia’s 8th District. Participants are asked to pre-register online at http://moran.house.gov/jobs_bootcamp.shtml.

Connolly Claims Postal Service Lacks Authority to Cut Saturday Deliveries, But Others Beg to Differ

School Board Gets Discipline Recommendations
