Bomb Threat Closes Fairfax County Courthouse

The Fairfax County Courthouse has closed for the remainder of the day due to a bomb threat.

All preliminary hearings scheduled for 2 p.m. in the General District Court are canceled and will be rescheduled. All court cases in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court will be continued at a later date. All juvenile intake services will be relocated to the Juvenile Detention Center, 10650 Page Ave., Fairfax.

The juvenile drivers license ceremony scheduled for this afternoon has been canceled and will be rescheduled.

The Circuit Court is also closed for the day.

Connolly Claims Postal Service Lacks Authority to Cut Saturday Deliveries, But Others Beg to Differ

With great fanfare, Congressman Gerald E.
