Four Charged In Herndon Alcohol Compliance Check

Herndon Police have charged four people with selling alcohol to a person under 21 years of age.

The charges follow a joint operation conducted on December 7 with Special Agents from the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to check the voluntary compliance of alcohol sales in the Town of Herndon.

Fifty-three establishments holding current ABC licenses were checked for compliance regarding sales to underage customers.

Charges

Siriphab Naepchit, 25, of Fairfax was charged with selling alcohol to a person under 21 years of age, at an establishment in the 400 Block Elden Street.
Joseph Hill, 30, of Herndon was charged with selling alcohol to a person under 21 years of age, at an establishment in the 200 Block Elden Street.
Harpreet Sidhu, 41, female of Herndon was charged with selling alcohol to a person under 21 years of age, at an establishment in the 1100 Block Elden Street.
Zsuzsama Maria Simonka, 29, of Ashburn was charged with selling alcohol to a person under 21 years of age, at an establishment in the 13000 Block Worldgate Drive.

Federal Audit Questions Airport Board’s Spending, Contract Practices

A federal audit of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which operates Dulles and Reagan National Airports and is building the Metrorail Silver Line, finds fault with the board’s policies for awarding contracts and controlling travel and entertainment expenses. Four Cities Get New Nonstop Service From Reagan National
